The main targets for this collaboration are micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and corporates in various fields. This collaboration is set against the backdrop of the very significant impact SMEs face during the pandemic,
“Therefore, new, capable digital products and services will be presented to support the business development of SMEs and corporates. Through this collaboration, Indosat Ooredoo will offer cloud-based and 5G-based SME digital solutions that can empower new business models and enable them to take advantage of new markets and opportunities,” said President Director and CEO Indosat Ooredoo Ahmad Al-Neama.
Indosat Ooredoo and Google Cloud have three main pillars that have been agreed by both parties. The three pillars are the digital transformation of SMEs in Indonesia in all business processes, the digital transformation of companies and communities with the power of 5G connections, and the digital transformation of Indosat Ooredoo’s operations.
Regarding the digital transformation of SMEs in Indonesia throughout the process, Indosat Ooredoo and Google Cloud will present a personalized marketplace with software as a service offerings. It includes an online presence with Google My Business, a productivity-enhancing Google Workplace, AI/ML that can expand and automate business and equipped with data analytics in the cloud to provide customer service.
While digitally transforming enterprises and communities with the power of 5G, both parties will build a portfolio of 5G edge computing solutions. By bringing the capabilities of Google Cloud, businesses and enterprises are able to put infrastructure to the edge and run applications closer to users. This pillar also encourages Indosat Ooredoo and Google Cloud to examine the development of managed services Business to Business (B2B) security to increase resilience and protect companies from cybersecurity risks.
In order to continue innovation in building an organization that prioritizes the cloud, on the pillar of its operational digital transformation, Indosat Ooredoo will modernize its infrastructure and applications on Google Cloud. Both parties will set a clear road map to modernize data analytics and adopt AI/ML that will improve Indosat Ooredoo’s position in the telecommunications ecosystem by improving core operations, costs and customer experience.
