UNdercover – Ruangguru , Every year, Fast Company, a business publication media from the United States, releases a list of the 50 most innovative companies in the world.
This year, Ruangguru, an Indonesian native technology startup engaged in education is one of the ones on the list. In fact, Ruangguru is the only company from Indonesia and Southeast Asia that has been named on the list.
Ruangguru was ranked # 25 in all categories and ranked # 2 in the education sector. Ruangguru lined up among the world’s top companies such as Moderna, SpaceX, NBA, Microsoft, and Nike.

Reporting from the Fast Company website , Ruangguru made it into this list because of its various initiatives in helping with learning activities during the pandemic.
One of them, through the Ruangguru Free Online School initiative which was launched directly since the establishment of home learning activities in March 2020.
Ruangguru uses 18 channels at the same time to run online schools every day with an innovative, creative and comprehensive learning approach that is utilized by more than 10 million students in Indonesia.
Currently, Ruangguru is the largest educational technology company in Southeast Asia which has been used by more than 22 million students in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
This start-up company provides various technology-based learning services, such as subscription learning videos, direct tutoring, learning management systems for schools, online soft skills training , and training applications for corporations
