Saudi Tourism Authority Partners with Lion Air

ukms.or.id – Targeting Indonesian Travelers, Saudi Tourism Authority Partners with Lion Air , The Saudi Tourism Authority recently collaborated with Lion Air in launching a new seasonal campaign, Rethink Summer. The collaboration is aimed at engaging Indonesian travelers and promoting Saudi Arabia as a summer destination for tourists.

Saudi is a tourism destination that offers diverse vacation experiences. From visiting the beautiful mountains in the cool city of Taif, to the beaches in Jeddah, to the high-altitude views of the clouds in Aseer.

The city is known as the fastest growing destination in the world. Its visitation capacity is able to welcome many tourists from different countries throughout the year.

With Rethink Summer, Saudi seeks to popularize the diversity of the city to the world, from its cool green mountains, to the beaches of the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf.

    Summer in the city has become a cooler pastime. Various activities can be done by tourists, from horse riding at Al Jazeera Equestrian Center, boat trips and diving in Jeddah, to exploring the villages of Muftaha, Al Souda, Abha Reservoir Lake and the historical village of Rijal Al Maa in Abha. Travelers can also enjoy panoramic views of the Al Hada Mountains and visit the City of Roses.

    Alhasan Aldabbagh, President of APAC Markets at Saudi Tourism Authority revealed that the growing international travel trend is the right momentum for Saudi Tourism Authority to offer Indonesian tourists to visit the city. He explained that the richness and cultural heritage of Arabia, combined with a varied landscape are the advantages that Saudi Arabia offers to Indonesian tourists.

    “Therefore, we strive to support our partners, in this case Lion Air, to continue to introduce vacation models in gaining new experiences, as well as exploring the potential of various attractions. Today, we are optimistic that we can achieve the spectacular goal of welcoming 100 million visitors by 2030,” Alhasan said.

    Furthermore, Achmad Hasan, Group Commercial Director of Lion explained that this collaboration will increase the potential of international travel from various cities in Indonesia to Saudi. Indonesia itself has the largest Muslim population in the world.

    “With this collaboration, we will create and maintain demand for travel to Saudi, especially in worship. This collaboration is also a good step to strengthen bilateral relations between Saudi and Indonesia, as well as the airline,” said Achmad.
