Porsche Indonesia collaborated with Casion during the launch of one of the charging sites for electric cars located at Cilandak Town Square by presenting the all electric sports car, Porsche Taycan. Porsche Indonesia continues to support Casion’s commitment to provide charging station infrastructure in Indonesia.
“The cooperation that was formed was emphasized by the presence of Porsche Taycan at the launch event. The cooperation between Porsche Indonesia and Casion is limited to the launch event of the Casion charging station located at Cilandak Town Square,” said Valencia Maximillian, PR Porsche Indonesia in his statement
With the presence of this infrastructure, Casion emphasizes its commitment to building an EV charging ecosystem that can provide convenience for all EV and hybrid users. Thus, EV owners such as Porsche Taycan do not need to worry about the existence of EV charging stations which were previously quite rare in the Jabodetabek area.
“The Porsche Taycan is an example of an EV unit that can charge at the Casion charging station, and is not limited to EVs but also hybrid vehicles,” said Valencia.
For information, the growth of electric and hybrid vehicles in Indonesia is increasing rapidly. There are already more than 60,000 electric vehicles on Indonesian roads.
With a sales target of 400,000 by 2025, facilities, especially electric vehicle (EV) charging, must be increased.
“Casion wants all people to be able to access charging stations more easily. Moreover, the EV charging that we offer has the world’s best standards and can be used to charge various types of EVs, one of which is hybrid cars,” said Casion CEO Kevin Pudjiadi.
For information, Casion itself has placed charging stations in several strategic locations in Jakarta such as Cilandak Town Square and Talavera Office Park. In addition to expanding the EV charging station network, Casion will also release special applications on Android and iOS.
