After being postponed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the five-year sacred event for Harley-Davidson fans entitled The 50th Golden Memorial Wingday which coincides with the 33rd anniversary of Harley-Davidson Club Indonesia (HDCI) Bandung is finally back at Pangandaran Beach, West Java.
This five-year celebration event was attended by thousands of bikers from within and outside the country. This event was also an effort by Siliwangi Harley-Davidson of Bandung to establish engagement with the Harley community.
As an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer in Indonesia, Siliwangi Harley-Davidson entered the event by presenting a pop-up booth as well as a service area for the bikers who attended. Wingday is the oldest and most sacred event for Harley-Davidson lovers.
“In this 50th Golden Memorial Wingday, we present the latest MY23 Harley-Davidson motorcycle line-up, including Sportster S, Nightster S, Street Bob 114, Fatbob 114, Fatboy, and Harley-Davidson Pan America Special as bike heroes,” said Kris Kharisma, General Manager of Siliwangi Harley-Davidson of Bandung in his statement, on Saturday
For this year’s Wingday event, H.O.G.® Siliwangi Bandung Chapter rode with 40 members from Jalan Wastukencana which is the location of Siliwangi Harley-Davidson of Bandung to head to the Wingday event in Pangandaran, West Java.
For all visitors who attended this year’s Wingday event, Siliwangi Harley-Davidson of Bandung provided a variety of attractive offers that could be utilized during the event.
“We also provide the latest genuine Harley-Davidson merchandise and genuine 120th Anniversary Harley-Davidson merchandise which are very limited in number. And also for bikers whose motorcycles need inspection and repair, we also present a service area and of course the sale of genuine parts,” he said.
The entire series of events consisted of H-D Classic Rally, Classic Contest, H-D Gentlemen Race & Bike Wash, 33rd Anniversary Procession, 50th Golden X Wingday Procession, HD Drag Race, Charity, and People’s Party involving local MSMEs. The classic Harley-Davidson motorcycles that were present enlivened the Classic Rally with the youngest age being 1984.
Followed by a total of 500 participants, Classic Rally held a rally from two starting points, namely from Gedung Sate, Bandung and Borobudur Temple, Yogyakarta. Not to forget the Classic Rally participants who complete the entire journey and pass several check points (posts) and finish until Pangandaran, will later get a 24-carat gold-plated “Wing” (Pin).
